This started as a personal project to capture our own outdoor memories before they faded. We had trips and stories worth preserving scattered across devices in fragmented photos, hasty notes, and GPX files.
Building Gone, we realised there was a bigger need—a dedicated space where anyone could document their journeys and share easily but in a rich, immersive way. Where those stories could be cherished and not relegated to social posts or lost behind screenshots and training logs.
Now Gone is a platform for the community to create visual records of their adventures through words, maps, photos and more. These interactive stories not only inspire but enable others to create their own versions through shared routes and knowledge.
